Software Updates


MacNMR software. (Be sure to select the correct file for your Mac)

  • 68k v5.5 for non-PowerPC Macs (i.e. Quadra, Mac II, etc.)
  • PPC v5.6 for NuBus style Power Macs (i.e. 7100, 8100, etc.)
  • PCI v5.6 for PCI style Power Macs (i.e. 7200, 8500, G3, etc.)

    Drivers. ONLY for the PCI version of MacNMR running on PCI Macs.

    PCI Drivers

    The National Instruments PCI interface card is not supported with MacOS 9.2.2 or MacOS X. Testing has shown that MacOS 9.2.2 installed on a Power Mac G4/867 does not function properly for instrument control. Tecmag recommends not upgrading to Mac OS 9.2.2 or to a newer Power Mac G4 that has MacOS 9.2.2 pre-installed.

    The fastest G4 Power Mac that is compatible with the National Instruments PCI interface card is the G4/450 with Mac OS 9.1.1.
